On Saturday 28th October 60 folk celebrated St Simon’s Day with a wonderful evening including a yummy dinner and great musical entertainment from ‘Bewdy Uke’! Click for photos, and video of Bewdy Uke  

We celebrated the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther nailing his 95 Theses to the door – the beginning of the Reformation. Thanks to the Rev. Dr. John Harris, our speaker, who also  brought many ancient Bible for us to see. Click for some great photos of really, really old Bibles!

The loan for the Rectory has now been paid off! The Parish paid off the church building in 2009, and now having paid off the rectory loan we are debt free! Thanks be to God!

Tracey announced that she will be concluding her time at St Simon’s to pursue ministry in the community, which is her passion.
