Lots has been going on – we just haven’t posted anything for a while – my bad 🙁
October 4th: we welcomed Archbishop Ben from Nigeria, who gave the sermon.
October 16th: lots of women went to the Canberra Womens Convention.
October 25th: Quade was baptised, and he and his family were welcomed into our church family.
November 1st: Australia lost the final of the Rugby World Cup (yes, significant :).
November 8th: We celebrated Defence Chaplaincy Sunday.
Lots more too:
– St Si’s indoor soccer team is going great guns (plays in the comp at Kaleen Sports Centre).
– our Mainly Music team celebrated it’s first birthday in Nov (20 children, plus mums/carers last Thurs!).
– our Bread Run team continues to pick up bread and distribute it to families in the area (including to Kaleen High on Wed mornings for their breakfast).
– lots of folks birthdays & anniversaries celebrated.
– Our Lawson team is preparing to visit folk as they move in to their homes in the new suburb of Lawson.
– Folk continue to meet in our 5 home fellowship/bible study groups thru the week.
